Hi everyone, thanks in advance for the advice...
I''m a seasoned retail and sales professional with 15 years experience. I am good at what I do, and though I do enjoy it immensely, I am ready for a change. 💪
I have a passion for outdoor living and almost all of my experience focuses around that. Any advice for what I should do next?? Open to all ideas!
Passion for outdoor living? If you have knowledge of camping, fishing, or gardening, for example, that is currently a sought after skill set. Many people are looking to learn those things as they try to develop a more self sufficient lifestyle. Consider developing your own small business or finding a company that offers camping/ outdoor experiences ( i.e. Orvis or similar company).

Hello Greg,
With your experience and skills, you have a great start towards a new career. Onetonline.org is a job search site that may be helpful to you. Just key in job titles such as "Marketing," "Real Estate," or any other title of interest. This is a good career self-search tool to discover updated job titles.
Best regards,
Hi Greg, As an HR professional, I would strongly suggest meeting with a job consultant/coach. You will want to look at your strengths/skills - Communication, leadership, customer success focus, etc. and then you can work with them to determine what other careers are aligned with your skill set. It is sometimes hard to get employers to look past your retail so your best bet is going to be getting a strong skill set resume put together so they pay more attention to what you can do instead of focusing so much on the industry you've been working in
