Is grey hair the kiss of death?
I have a full head a grey hair. Some have suggested that hair dye could improve my luck. What do you all think?
Eric, fortunately for you, you are male, and males in our society are generally considered "wise" and "distinguished" when they have grey hair. Unfortunately, women are considered "old" when we have grey hair! I suggest you keep your beautiful, natural hair color! Coloring grey hair is difficult, as grey hair is very resistant in holding color, and if your hair grows quickly, you will have to color it frequently; otherwise, you will end up with "grey roots". Hope that helps....the bottom line is, what makes you feel good about yourself? If a different haircolor helps, by all means, do it!
You’ve earned that gray... being 63 I’m proud of mine.
My mustache is almost all gray and i just got past over for a job today!!!
Maybe to get your foot in the door. Dye it.
Use the "wit" that grey can mean, and start your own business :). No one else can live you for you.
From one grey hair to another
It does dont do nothing for my hair the gray hairs are like magic they appear as you dye them. You great just the way you is.
Do not, I repeat do not waste your time, (dying your hair that Is) If an employer would not hire you because of grey hair, they're not worth fooling with to begin with.
Opinions about the impact of gray hair in the business remain conflicted as the workforce gets collectively older, with the first baby boomers set to turn 60 next year and all 78 million members of America's largest generation now over 40. "On the one hand, there are some companies eager to hire gray-haired. On the other hand, in some other areas, there is extreme discrimination" against older workers.
My brunette hair is turning blonde. It works. No job chances until I gave up my hair and started collagen. Age discrimination is legal in Maryland.
