My wife, and I and our daughters voted this week. Not every human in this world can say that. Actually - far far from it. I also go to sleep at night watching horrors in other lands like Ukraine, feeling compassion and empathy but not fear as I know that will not happen here.
What I am trying to say is THANK YOU VETERANS and their awesome families that support them. It is easy to take our freedoms and safety for granted. But I know better. And this day gives us pause to express our gratitude. Thank you does not seem near enough, but also so important to say. So Thank you. God bless and godspeed.
ps: for all Employers out there - there are over 18 million veterans in our country who are incredible leaders in private and public life. But not all new veterans have easy transitions from Military to private fit. So suggest you look two or three times closer and support a hero and hire a rockstar all in one motion!

I want to travel to America from Jordan, but I do not know the way?

The Land of the Free.... Because of the Brave....!

Iwo Jima. An amazing book is Flag of our Fathers. Horribly sad but also incredible inspiring.

I agree and it almost hurts that people need to be reminded with proof🙃😤

That picture originally with native Ira, story should be told and known to our youth.... May God Bless...

We are still the Greatest Country. General Patton's poem stated, to Thank the Good Lord, for the time we had with our fellow military men, other than crying....

Thankyou all for your service. Those who made the ultimate sacrifice will always be in my prayers.

Are you a military veteran? Hope you have a great holiday, I just went to the nursing home to visit the veterans and have some free food for them
Thank you to all that honor them. My awesome son is currently serving. I have another that wants to go in as soon as he is old enough. He wants to be with his brother and honor his grandfather s as well. We have many in our family that have served. One uncle that passed away while still enlisted. I don't know all the details of his death I just know he passed away/killed. I can't remember if my dad said I was just a baby or if he passed away if all this happened before I was born. My dad served in the army but now has passed away as well. So I can't ask him. But again thank you to all who served. If you see somebody serving today doesn't don't wait to veterans Day. Welcome and tell him simply thank you for your service. I proudly do it a day on a daily basis. Mostly we have army around here but still they're serving. Asian men and women need to know we have their support. I see too many that just wish they could go home. If we support him they'll stick in the military support all of us. So simply supporting them is not very hard. Then they won't want to get out so easily and leave our borders unprotected. So the least we can do is thank them for their service.
