I lost my job may31st, I applied for unemployment right away but had to reapply when I lost the ability to pay for everything.... I got internet now and I have kept on with what I was supposed to and ive heard nothing... idk what to do, nowhere wants to hire a felon ( I haven't been in any trouble since I was 27 ,I'm 34 now). I have 2 kids and thank God for foodstamps because we're in serious trouble. I just want an opportunity to support my family again. #Knoxville #Unemployment #family

Just hang in there amber..it looks bleak..but i had same problem..just kept hammering at them..eventually you will talk to someone who will help..minewas 3 months backed up..it sux because as soon as you get it its gone..just hang in there!..also just leave the felon part off your app..leave it blank..if they ask then be honest..but ive never filled it out and im one also...your personal disposition will carry you far..

Look up jobs in safety, Fire Watch and Hole Watch, you may need to get certified but it's fairly simple. And don't listen to Catherine Winchester, her advise is about as convoluted as the inbreeding that goes on in her family. Good luck.

Hey have you tried applying with Alorica?

Immediately down size take only what you can carry. Get a tent In las vegas it's illegal to sleep in your car It will be impounded and you will go to jail But you can sleep next to your car It's a new world and people are living in the sewer pipes

You need to call and talk to them. Calls start at 7. The day I called at 7 I only had to hold for 45 minutes and the guy fixed everything for me and I got all my money in two days. It’s a pain but worth it.

Send them a fax with all your details and keep a copy.... when you filed etc...they will respond to that because it is a written document.

If you need help with your resume I will help you, no charge. If you need help with a cover letter, I am happy to help.
I have been homeless a few times in my life: once because of poor planning on my part, and a few times when I was a kid because of my mom's failure to plan. Either way, it is the same as the end result is problematic and the situation looked dire.
If you need help interviewing, there are places that can help. You can find a case manager pro-bono, there are pro-bono attorneys who will help. Also, you can use your phone to respond to interview questions and ppl can offer feedback based on the video you record on your phone.
I know you are scared and you are worried, I get it, I have been there....a few of my friends are going through the same thing. You gotta do this one day at a time.....just take care of today and then when tomorrow comes, focus on that. Really hard to do, I know..

That’s not fair!

Smh
Call them but ask to get transferred to determination it’s may take a while but I had to
