Job type suggestions

I have a 2 year old son I'm caretaking while my wife and In-laws work in the mornings. He was exposed to influenza A several times in daycare before the pandemic; a nebulizer was purchased to hwlp with his breathing which ostracized the idea of ever bringing him back to any daycare. I need part-time remote work at night in customer service in the northern NJ area. If anyone knows of any opportunities like this, please, I am more than open for those outlets. #remote #part-time

Hey @Jimmy Santiago Jr , so sorry to hear about your son's health issues. My hope is that he's feeling much better and on the road to recovery when you receive this message.

Have you given any thought or looked into direct family caretaker employment options with the state of New Jersey? Take a look at the New Jersey Assistance for Community Caregiving (JACC) program and find out if you and your family qualify for any of these paid Caretaker programs for immediate family members. I believe these programs are funded by SSI but they may also be able to point you towards a family support program you qualify for.

For part-time remote job opportunities, take a look at this new job lead @Janice Reed posted today, Hiring PT Remote Data Entry Clerks!. @Elyssa Duncan also shared another interesting job lead with us last week, see Hiring now: Work from anywhere, 20 hours/week, up to $15/hour.

For BETTER success, take a look at the related remote job search and employment information on our Work From Home Resource Center. There you will find helpful remote job search and hiring strategies like 5 Tips you can use to get past an ATS which is an essential step if you're seriously interested in landing a remote job opportunity.

When you’re ready to apply, make sure you use an optimized resume with your online applications.

  • Doing this will boost your online application rating and significantly increase your chances of getting hired.

Hi @Jimmy Santiago Jr , would you consider teaching English as a second language? Companies like VIPKid and Cambly offer full and part-time teaching opportunities to offer instruction to students in foreign countries. Different timezones also allow for more schedule flexibility during early morning and late evening hours.

Take a look and let us know what you think. Thanks
