I have contacted many companies regarding work opportunities since October of last year, but I have not received a positive response despite my 8 years of experience in the construction of electrical substations, potable water, and wastewater pumping stations, also I have knowledge of all the details related to the execution of a combined cycle power plant. could anyone advise me? # #jobsearch #engineering #construction #job

I will tell you that the job market is tough right now; it’s not the lack of workers but the lack of work corporations are willing to give and salary is a whole new level. You need to know your worth and majority of corps looking want people with a degree, experience, knowledge but only want to pay minimally!!! It is rough when I found myself unemployed in 2020 right at end of it was so hard to find a decent job!!!! Any job worth anything companies were low balling so much so I thought a lot were joking when they gave the salary offer: they weren’t!! 🤦♀️ good luck there are still jobs and good companies out there just gotta find yours!!
You don't say HOW you contacted them. You MAY need resume help. Google resumes & get yours in shape. ENSURE there are no Grammer or punctuation errors. Develop a great cover letter. Ask a previous coworker or boss for a reference letter. Have a friend, someone at church or someone you know, possibly even someone at your bank, to proof both documents & see if the letter makes sense.aybe you're having problems with structure flow or something else that you aren't even aware of!!! Once you get it all worked out save all as pdfs so you can send when you apply online. Remember, you need a flawless resume, flawless cover letter & 1-2 references. Sounds like you have a good chunk of experience, I can only imagine you need help presenting what you've got. Good luck & DO let us know how it turns out!!!
