@Rochelly Fajardo Hello Rochelly, truly inspiring story here, I think itβs great to remember that sometimes the best thing for you is on the other side of a choice that you might be hesitant to make. A great reminder that you have to follow your gut, it rarely leads you down the wrong path, thanks for sharing ππΌ

@Rochelly Fajardo Yea I went from the warehouse industry for 15+ years and did everything from entry-level to management. The past two years Iβve been a commercial driver for the Long Beach/Los Angeles ports and Iβm pretty happy in my career field despite I never wanted to do it in the first place. But in November of 2022, I found that Real Estate investing is my true passion and Iβm slowly making the transition to doing it full-time. REI is something I never thought I would get into, but I went down a rabbit hole researching the industry and the benefits that comes with it. Sometimes you just have to shoot your shot. We only live once on this earth and we need to do what we love the most.

Great:) As I always say, better than pursuing happiness is being in harmony and truthful to oneself. Or, we could say, that happiness implies being in complete harmony with oneself.

Only 2 year for office Assistant job experence
I've shared here before that I left an exhausting career in Hospitality as a GM in July 2021 after dedicating 10 years to the industry. Difficulties in Operations following the pandemic and a change of ownership, complete breakdown of cohesion between upper and middle management and complete disregard for the welfare of the company's employees caused me to resign under duress. I traded my physical and mental decline for a job in retail security, took an almost $20k reduction in income and have been healthier, more grounded and content with life than I've been in some time. I don't regret my choice, as hard as it was to make because it went against my "I'm not a quitter" mentality. But, sometimes you have to sacrifice ideals for something better.
