I recently had a conversation with a patient, who asked me if I liked my job, or rather do I like what I do. I told this patient that was the same I asked my mom. Her answer to me was if you like what you do then it's not a job, it's a pleasure and fullfillment to help others who can no longer help themselves. I love what I do and hope to meet someone else someday who feels the same way

There is no higher calling than being of Service to others Elizabeth McMullen . So glad to hear you have found your path!

You just did I personally appreciate what you do and everyone in that field for that matter you guys save lives! Period is there anything else? I just completed and received my certificate for Hospital Maintenance Technician and i still havent found a place to call home i got 1 interview that did not sit well with me simply it was only going to be a win win for them plus the schedule was horrible and the pay rate is at poverty level i only ask for fairness and what im worth. But a pay rate thats below minimum wage im sorry i am american ive been a hard worker since the age of 8! Im a 42 year old father of four in 2018 at 10.50 an hour? Insulting to say the least! My last job was 15 per hour at least. So yes walk with your head held high be proud of yourself you are employed directly by God! God bless you and your family and keep up the good job! Lots of love your way.

i agree with you all the way it makes perfect sense to me. if you really love what you do it really is not a job amen to that.

That is awesome of you.

Bless your heart and may God bless you in many ways. You put it very nicely. I feel the same way I hope somebody takes care of me when I won't be able to.

You can have a job that you love!! I think it is wonderful to have someone passionate!!

Satisfication is I would say is very personal in life.

Its good to know in today's world there are people that want something that isn't a materiel thing but a strong ideal to bring self satisfaction. Liz you're gonna get it don't settle for anything short of what you want out of this life professional and personally.
You are so blessed to be able to enjoy the people around you. Lately life has been rough and the world has become a less compassionate place. The fighting the brutality it's getting bad but you are the bright spot in your patients lives. Great going! Thanks for keeping the faith.
