Albert, a father and active community member, wants to make society a safer and more productive place for people with criminal records. Despite several challenges such as housing, job, and social concerns, Albert's early beginnings in rural Southern Georgia instilled in him a desire to serve and work hard.
He entered in the military at the age of 17 and later earned a Masters of Liberal Arts degree from the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, where he was named the university's most outstanding graduate. Albert is now crafting legislation to provide opportunities for sentenced convicts to minimize recidivism and improve recovery.
Albert hopes to make the world a better place by realizing that everyone is an individual and that categorizing groups is harmful to growth.
