Is it fair if a new employee with an associates and minimal experience gets higher salary than a double major in marketing and administration? Should the issue be addressed to my boss?
Also have to ask yourself - what else do they possibly know or bring to the table - so to speak - that you may not be aware of that got them the higher pay? I agree with Sue - could very well come back to bite you in the rear.
You were hired based on what was seen from reviewing your resume plus the answers given during your interview process. Asking about this type of information may be the worse step you can make as you're barking up a tree that is none of your business. I learned about this mistake many years ago and never made it again as I said it's none of my business what another person makes unless they would like me to know personally.
