In Florida I received my 1099 for my unemployment claim and it says I received more than I did. I tried to call them and each person says they don't handle it. Florida Dept says it's not them, the IRS says call Florida Dept. That was after hours waiting on hold each time. 🙄 #1099 #benefits

I have not been able to get my 1099g yet! Called 4 times and each time said they mailed it and would take 3 weeks. I need to file taxes. What do I do?

I figured it out! After the first payment, I had them take out 10% for taxes. I added that 10% back into all the subsequent payments I received and it came out exact. The only issue now is they charged me for a check I never cashed because I knew it wasn't due me. I still have the uncashed check.
