FLA Unemployment process

Does anybody have suggestions on collecting unemployment? I did the ID.ME and filed my claim with Florida DEO (mobile.connect.myflorida.com) on 5/18/21 and it is stuck at "Pending" ever since. I wrote my representative and they forwarded me to CONNECT. My account there is locked and every number that I call eventually hangs up on me. The Florida DEO no longer has online waiting. What are my next options? #unemployment #florida EDIT: Add state (FL) as most respondents seem to be in CA. I am also adding details (above & updates) that might make this process slightly less painful for future Floridians. UPDATE 12JUL21: I just called 833-352-7759 (FL DEO) and was able to request a call back. The call back was super helpful except that I was not at home, so I hope to repeat this process and access a similarly helpful person. I will try to reset my PIN at Connect (floridajobs.org) AGAIN and create an account at EmployFlorida.com

no one wants to or should be treated bad for that matter.difference is they have the jobs & are getting paid, while the rest of us are needing our entitled benefits to help while looking for work!agents should help cause it is their jobs that they are paid to do.

I'm in the same Boat. I have been waiting to get something from Unemployment for 9 weeks now. If you learn anything about how to get anyone to help you let me know I have sent letters I call & they tell me my Deputy has to approve. Maybe I will get my call today. Lets hope so.

I have being waiting for my unemployment money for 14 weeks - I am in the same boat - no one answer the phone at the EDD in California - they keep saying that they have to many people on the EDD and the lines are full - Then the EDD adds another number and that is full - We are now up to three phone numbers and they are all full. I have written 9 letters with no answer - along with 9 e-mail that tell me that someone from the EDD will get back to me in 5-7 seven days. It has been six weeks and no answer. I don't know how to get my money. Thank for you e-mail - at lease I'm not the only one. Sandie

Ditto. No help maybe its because we really had jobs and their not sure how to process non fictional paperwork. I weep for our country and scream because I'm a veteran.

Where is Hackensack? I’m guessing whatever state you’re in you should have a state representative

No luck. After the call, I received a notification that my payment terms were changed (I didn’t have my account information during the call). The call came from the DEO number at a time when i was expecting it. I have not had any success to contact DEO since. But I honestly have not tried often. Are you in FLA?
