One mindset is: DON’T THROW SPAGHETTI AT THE WALL

What does this mean? Those who have been out of the workforce for a prolonged period may feel tempted to respond to a large quantity of postings in hopes that they get a response.

Instead you can ask yourself: "What organizations would I love to join? What impact do I want to make in that organization? How do I align my transferable skills to that role? How do I package myself as that candidate that they must interview?”

How do you adapt your habits to make your #jobsearch successful? #GoGetIt

Hello everyone, I too know rejection concerning the work force. Nobody likes rejection, however I started to tell myself after each interview. Cheryse it is not you personally they are rejecting. You have what it takes to do this job. Your transferrable skills set is self-explanatory.

People say Go in and sell yourself, And I speak I am not for sell. I am looking for Partnership, longevity. A company that recognizes greatness. I say keep rejecting me. That one employer is going to recognize your gifts and talents, and that door will be opened. Keep Applying, keep Learning, Stay in the pipeline.

Each rejection is an opportunity for growth. You know when something is for sell, that shopper is still trying to get that product for a lower price.

I am waiting for that Employer to say to me, we value a person with your gifts and talents and would love to have you come join our team. We Need you!!!!! Call me Arrogant, But I know my Worth, and the right company will too!!

I'm a 40 year old single father of 2 amazing kids! They fay I was laid off felt great at first because I knew that I would qualify for unemployment and that would finally give me the chance to take soem time off from work and do what I love plus take care of stuff around my house. I had a plan. I told myself that I'm going to stay on unemployment for 3 months tops! After that I'll start applying for employment. Nope things got crazy. I keep applying for work on indeed.com and within 2 months I was hired with a company. Now let me remind you I applied at 85 different companies, offered 3 interviews and got excepted by one company. The best part about that time of me feeling like the world's weight was on my chest while getting rejected. It pushed and motivated me to a state of mind that something big was getting ready to land my way and that I'm pretty much halfway up that mountain. Everytime I felt depressed or let down I kept telling myself. "RALPH! Your still climbing that mountain don't give up!" Yah I was a little late on some of my bills but I knew that was all going to change. Because soon as I make it to the top of that mountain all of this unnecessary stress and worry is going to disappear and I'll forget it even happened. Stay focused on the positive you do have and when you do feel down take it as a way of strengthening because you're built to handle hardship and rejection. Keep climbing that mountain and I promise you that job is going to land right in your hands.

Just don’t give up… when you give up that means you gave up on yourself and you never give up on yourself …stay positive… when one door closes another one opens and keep telling yourself there’s a yes behind a no… The World is yours nothing can stop what’s meant for you…xoxo Alysia

Just do not give up (and when you do, remove yourself from the chasing resume applications tasking for awhile). As a technical writer and fiction/short story author, I received some advice a long time ago..."Every rejection is one step closer to acceptance. Pay attention to those whom also give advice back to better your product." I also made a scrapbook of my rejection notices and letters just to remind myself I was still putting in work to find my searches fruitful.

Go to instacart and start shopping for people. I was laid off back in October as a biomedical engineer, So I did what any hustler would do..... Go get that money in these streets. I'll leave you with this, "On the other side of fear is not courage, it's knowledge. Courage is just a side effect of knowledge because you are confident in what you do." Hopefully you take my advice and see there is money to be made, and it doesn't necessarily have to be in an institution.

You are only stagnant because you don't know how to hustle in these streets. Begging for a job isn't going to get you anywhere, when then bills get outta control you'll start to look for other alternatives.
