What made me stay at #I haven't worked in 20+ years was

I miss working but the job I worked for many years began to overwhelm me. I liked to do my best but the job duties got to be so numerous that I began to feel as though I wasn’t putting out my best work. If you aren’t doing what you’re proud of and some began to fall behind, it was time to move on. #termination #management #health #stressful

I am so sorry that it made you feel so overwhelmed. Sometimes piling on task upon task can just be TOO much and managers should really know better! What type of work are you seeking now? I would love to help!!

I'm so sorry. I also have not worked in possibly 20+ years. I was unable to get any "real" jobs out of high school, just retail; & those only lasted 4 weeks, each of them. Next I was able to work for 3 months, but not past that. I have no idea WHY but NO job would last past 3-4 months. The last job I held was back in 2011, right before my back & left shoulder was broken. After this I actually had a, "Near Death Experience" from what I found was, Undiagnosed Kidney Cancer, of all things. So yeah. Pretty terrible for me all the way around. THANKFULLY I'm getting better now, but it wasn't until 2019 that I was finally feeling well enough to leave the house & possibly work again, unfortunately the "little cold" that everyone was getting turned out to be a killer & shut everyone & thing down. =-(! Anyway, I'm in the same boat as you, but different, all at once. Oddly I felt I had to "tell my life story" just to, "justify" why I also have been unemployed for 20 or so years now. =-(! But yeah, if anyone can help either of us out it would be a miracle-god send. =***-(!!!!!!!
