Probably not, but it’s generally good practice not to post things on social media that you wouldn’t want your current or future boss seeing. Anyone can find the things you post publicly, and I’m not sure what you would gain from portraying yourself in an unfavorable way.

I would be willing to bet they don’t have time to do that. Usually for retail and fast food they’re looking at criminal history and if you’re on the sex offender registry. And the sex offender one is a stretch

As a previous GM for pizza hut. They do run background for theft any felonies and sexual crimes. No they do not view your social media presence, with the turn over rate so high in the restaurant/food industry they do not have time for that type of in depth investigation. Now for a state or federal job yes absolutely they do. They want ever last detail of your life.

No background check doesn't include your online history. However, employers can look at your social media public posts.

The only way they track your online activity is if they’re following you on social media. Other than that it’s too much time and money to do a background check for a Pizza Hut job. Don’t friend your boss on social media.
