So, I'm a convicted felon right, all these work-from-home places I'm finding do background checks. Is there anywhere that doesn't discriminate? Is it even going to be possible to get this type of job? Why does your past have to define you? I really need some income!! #jobsearch #interview #advice #wordsofadvice #felonies #application
I am a convinced felon and I recently was working from home. Try kelly connect
I believe once you've served your time you've served your time. Jobs after certain time should not be able to see that stuff
I'm a felon I've got plenty of great jobs. Expesually if some time has gone by you'll be fine
I am a convicted felon over 30 years ago. I’ve worked for the fed gvt for the last 20 years and they know about it. It’s all about showing you aren’t that person anymore and be honest. Maybe references help also. Good luck:-)
My husband is a felon but it’s been 12years since it. It happen in 2010. My husband is an electrician and have been for four years. He explained to the company when he went up there and they took him. Also he gets hired right away in temp services for electricians
Yeah it sucks cus I’ve gone through it. Soon as you’re upfront about it they just automatically reject you regardless of your willingness to work. My probation officer was giving me issues about my fees, I’m like how can I pay you if no one is I’ll hire me. They act like it’s easy to find a job in reality it’s difficult cus society will always judge you.
I've been there itsocks, but keep trying. Sometimes u can explain it to the employer. All the years I've done, been pretty easy getting a job. Keep pushing eventually you will find one
Give me the links. I need them all. Please and thank you.
I feel you and honestly people deserve chances but the background checks are killing those trying to better their lives felon or not we all need to earn a living somehow!
The same thing is happening to me
