Show, don't tell.

I've reviewed close to 300 resumes, and I can't tell you how many times I see phrases like "hard-worker" or "tech savvy" on a resume, listed under their Skills section.

In my opinion, your skills should be things you can back up with a credential of some sort (degree, cert, etc). How you present yourself in an interview, and how you describe your experiences, should tell me all I need to know about your work ethic, or how comfortable you are with technology.

I'd respond better to applied experience like a video of me doing the job instead of self supporting quotes, and I'd love references, letters of praise from others than myself.
