Bartending can be a rewarding career that allows you to interact with a variety of people and showcase your creativity. By following these steps, you can begin your journey towards becoming a skilled and successful bartender.
Do not attend bartending school
Bartending success is built on experience, not just schooling. Attending events like the Nightclub & Bar Show and participating in practical training can teach valuable skills and information, but courses may not provide enough experience for an effective job.
Begin as a bar-back or server
Begin as a cocktail or food server to gain experience in the beverage industry.
The person was able to excel in both roles, providing exceptional customer service and increasing his tips. This versatility allowed him to advance his career in the industry and eventually become a bar manager.
Have the required certificates
TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) focuses on responsible alcohol delivery and lowering the risk of intoxication whereas Serv-Safe emphasizes food safety measures to prevent food borne illness. Both certificates can help improve your abilities and marketability in the hospitality business.
Keep your guests safe
To create a welcoming and pleasant environment, bartenders must keep an eye out for potential issues such as intoxication, underage drinking, and drunk driving. Maintaining a pleasant mood necessitates using customer service skills and making sure everyone has a good time.

Very helpful! I've heard so many bartenders say that you shouldn't go to bartending school. Whether they're YouTuber mixologists, local tavern-keepers, or friends who bartend. However, I have heard that you have to always be learning, and it's important to know your drinks inside and out. Including, in some cases, the history.

In that environment it's better not to trust anyone

I will always crutnize and study every person's behaviour
I would be carefull
