Is it legal for an employer to ask how far along you are when interviewing for a in person interview?

According to the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, it’s illegal to deny someone employment based on their pregnancy status. It may be that they were asking in an innocent, friendly way, but it’s not a very professional question. I don’t think you’re uptight about it. It could be a red flag. It may reveal the kind of people they are. They might not be very sensitive to your pregnancy situation. Stay alert!

I’m sure it’s legal. Why are you so uptight about it? They were casually asking when you’re going to be witnessing the miracle of life, and you immediately look for ways to sue? Get out of here.
