I have been receiving desperately needed PUA benefits since June. I have been struggling with housing issues and so either stay in cheap (scary) motels, or a tent. On Nov 8th my benefits were put on hold and I was commanded to provide proof of identity, address, prior employment, bank info, etc, within 6 days. I immediately complied. I received my last deposit 6 weeks ago! It's entirely too cold to be sleeping outside in a tent! I understand there are a lot of these cases to be worked and the holidays slow things down but, why stop the benefits entirely indefinitely? I have called, emailed, and everything else I have been instructed to do. How much longer??!

PUA told me when they ask for that again saying fraud not to freak out it’s just because you do the claim over WiFi which is nice to know!

The same thing here in Virginia,,,while we have been striving to get back to work time lapsed. Benefits not coming in time to pay rent, auto and food purchases. We provided all proof as required.we are exposed to eviction and repossession. Is that fair for taxpayers be homeless and hopelessness??
