I reported to work one morning and the owner kept his dog in the office where the employees clock in and out of and the dog ran out and I was told that I had to go get him and put him back in the office and I refused and I was told to go home.
You should have been more thoughtful and careful not to let the dog out, specially since you knew the dog was in the office. I’m sure the owner had previously cautioned everyone to be careful and not let the dog out.
I worked at dollar general remolded 5, 9 months in she hired someone gave him a 2 dollar raise. He lost the door key I was blamed. I made 10.50 taught him everything I should of been first to move up. Don't ever work for dollar general in Mississippi. You can put your heart in it and they will use you an let you go. They will hire a person and make all the store problems your fault. SMH
You were wrongly terminated and you should contact the labor board or contact an atty.
If you're the one who actually let the dog out then you should have been responsible and got it back into the office
Why is the employee clock in and out machine in the bosses office? If he is gone for the day and locks his office, or he's in the middle of a meeting and you do not have access to his office, isn't that a problem? Some employees may be terrified of dogs and would not go in the office to clock in because of the dog. Having his dog in his office puts other employees in an uncomfortable position. Just sayin'
He shouldn't have his dog there a lot of people have medical problems and to have the dog there where the clock is would be a Hazzard
Is that under her job title to Chase his dog around that should not be in the same spot as the time clock. How many times is this dog going to run out of the room
I think it would be better and more comfortable for both the Dog and people if it was left home.
I was terminated while in the hospital from a car wreck
As s attorney I feel you have a valid legal claim. What city/state was this in?
