January 6,2020 after 6 years I was terminated because I asked a manager that is friends with one of the owners about merchandise for his brother had not been paid for. My termination paperwork said lack of communication and unable to manage parts department. But the owner was told I up and walked out and took my department with me. I Love cars and I like helping people, the level of disrespect really hurt. I cared about my job because I Loved what I did. I talked to said owner and his body language on the phone was thanks for the call no one will call and ask for help anymore and take care. Sad when you care more about other folks’ property and they act like you don’t matter. They claim to be a Christian oriented family minded dealership. How can you be truthful when bad Service E-Mails get erased out of the system just to look good. They stress how they’re a President’s Club Award winning dealership. I don’t think corporate knows about this

Hello. I saw you comment about your former job and want to tell you that we are looking for people to work in our service and financial office. Would you like me to schedule an interview, please?

I would definitely file a complaint with the EEOC about this to clear your record and also talk to a wrongful termination attorney. This will come up later when you least expect it to. Protect yourself. There are probably other discrepancies this company is engaged in, including tax evasion. They might try to put some of their wrongdoing on you. Protect yourself now. That way if something does come up, you already have evidence that you took action first. Obviously, they have something to hide.

I know it is like a bad breakup. Sometimes there is no why. Just go through the grieving process. This door closed but I guarantee you this...if you focus on helping others your new door will open. Too elevate you must separate.

Sounds like you need to talk to the owner since that manager has lied about you, If he is Friends or not with the manager you need to set the story straight with the owner as he has been misinformed or may not know the full story.

Get up. Go to work. Do your 8 hours. Go home . Have a beer. It's not that hard. Oh...and mind your own business.

working for an auto dealership; employed only as detailer; ended up being janitor, detailer, parts person, basic auto preventive mechanic. The supervisor let me go because that I was to proficient, it made everybody look bad.

Maybe you should give corporate a call and let them know what is going on at their company. Sorry for your termination. I know what it is like to worry more about a company than the owners.

You don't want to work for a company like that anyway. Anyone would be happy to have a great dedicated employee as yourself. I get it.
