If it's for prejudice reasons or non justified discrimination, I wouldn't say that's a reason not to hire someone.

I think it is imperative that an interviewer remain objective especially with the diversity in the workforce today. Perspective is everything and pre judgement can cause irreparable damage to ones reputation.
