As a member of the Personal Lines Sales organization, you will provide insurance recommendations, quotes, and issue policies to Individual consumers seeking automobile, homeowners and personal umbrella coverages across the United States. The business includes AARP Automobile and Homeowners Insurance Program serving more than 37 million members since 1984.

AS A SALES AGENT YOU WILL:
Provide insurance recommendations, quotes, and issue policies
Utilize active listening and critical thinking skills to quickly analyze and clearly understand a specific request or customer need, and then leverage knowledge and resources to provide the appropriate solutions
Be provided with approximately 12 weeks (may vary) of paid training, including preparation and sponsorship for your Property & Casualty Personal Lines insurance exam.
Use a consultative approach to determine customer needs, build rapport and provide solutions based on current products and service offerings
Location: Fully Remote
Start Date: May 10th, 2021
Training Hours: Monday thru Friday 12:30 pm - 8:00 pm EST
Post Training Hours: Monday thru Friday 3:30 pm - 12:00 am EST time OR Monday thru Friday 11:00am - 7:30pm EST time & Every Other Saturday 11:00 am - 6:00 pm EST time. (The week that you work on Saturday you will work an extra hour on Monday)
Your work schedule will adjust based on daylight savings time
You will have one weekday off when you work on Saturday and you will receive a 5% shift differential for working every other Saturday after training!

Does that mean you have to live near Scottsdale, AZ? Is that correct? I live in WV and most companies don't hire in our area unless it's paying on commission and you are your own boss. Several required you to pay for a subscription monthly to use their information. I understand you have cost when you own your own business but that's ridiculous if they are making a profit from you. I did my second interview with another insurance company and was told that they had "decided to pursue other candidates who more closely fit our current business needs." I guess "being truthful" with my answers was something they wanted to hear. I've been in customer service for almost 39 years. I started when I was still in high school. Wish me luck because I have enough savings to last me a couple more months.
