Companies are constantly looking for new ways to source candidates, and recently they've turned to TikTok.
You can search for job postings on the app, and apply by making a short 60 second clip explaining what you would bring to the position.
Nonetheless, it is a change to the interview formula, and in our brave new virtual world it may be a great way to assess fit or personality for a role.

What do you think?

no

TikTok may work well for younger workers but when your over 40 age discrimination is at an all time high.

Mr. Cohen You are a so on point with that statement. I totally agree.

Knock knock who's there? The Weeknd..

I wouldn't do a thing on Tiktok, it is to social media what covid is to the public.

Looking for work from home position

If that helps me land a job,I do what the company requires. Have to change with the times! Ford
No. This becomes much like a dating app, if you are “undesirable” in your video (older worker, not classically attractive, etc) or just don’t film well you will be passed over. We all know humans are visually driven, to pretend otherwise is ridiculous. There is no way to get a honest look at a persons abilities without talking through an interview, references and a resume. To use TikTok would be inviting discrimination on so many levels, there is a point where we need to cut the cord with social media.
