Do you feel these scores and reports are fair/ necessary from a drivers perspective? Chime in please! Give your opinions! #truckers #truckdrivers #advice # opinions #safety

25 years of driving and I got my 1st speeding WARNING about a month ago. My employer acted as though I totaled the truck. The way this industry is nowadays, it's not worth it. Under trained drivers, companies that care more about the dollar than their drivers, and drivers that have no respect for their fellow drivers and don't care about the safty of others have ran this profession in the ground. Back when I started we was still appreciate and respected. Know we're cussed at and hated. Law firms have put targets on our backs because of million dollar settlements for a whiplash. True truckers, the ones who actually cared about the profession and had pride in it are all but gone. After 25 years, I'm done too. Good luck to the ones that can still deal with the crap.

They never take into account 4 wheelers slamming on the brakes in front of us causing us to hit them because they seem to think we can stop on a dime!!

@deleted user My employer doesn’t give scores or reports. They do document safety incidents. If you bump a tire on a K-rail they want drivers to report it. Working the ports can take hours sitting around so performance reports would be a disadvantage to drivers.

I do feel like the CSA and PSP reports are fair, as these are good ways for employers to find out about a potential employee's background, especially when it comes to things a driver would rather not share, like certain accidents that weren't ticketed that wouldn't come up on an mvr. however I do feel that the PSP score stays on the record for a bit to long for my liking
It's Fair but today's Employer's Act like if it's a Minor Incident they Accuse of 1st Degree Murder, alot Employers use it Unjustly to give a Driver a Really Bad Score.
