Build skills to open doors

I just read about Home Depot donating $50M to help get more people trained as carpenters, electricians, etc. So I looked into the programs they're sponsoring and they look amazing. Check out the link below to find free training programs all over the country!

Love this @MichaelAbram ! Our country needs to support skills like these. Since 2018, the program hopes to train 20,000 people over 10 years. Kudos to Home Depot! And cheers to Home Builders Institute for starting youth programs. Very cool stuff.

Most of these training programs are offered at Job Corps and Career Resource centers nationwide USA. There's a lot of interest in alternative college career training tracks.

These programs serve as apprenticeship training options for entry level opportunities into very Lucrative trade$. Adding this info to my favorites. Thanks Michael Abram

That is great! Good for Home Depot. The trades need to be brought back..tool and die jobs of all kinds. A lot of kids can't afford to go to college..or just aren't suited for it. And..if you go to a Technical college..you won't spend the next 20 or more years trying to pay off your debt. Too many college students graduate with almost worthless degrees that cost someone a fortune to get a job that pays a third of some of the trade jobs.
