What you’ve learned from past jobs and life experiences is incredibly useful to land your next job. And if you want your next job to be in a new industry, you must harness those past skills and transfer them to a new role. Follow these steps:
Decide what you do well (and enjoy doing) — Consider past work experiences. What do you excel at doing, and what do you enjoy doing? Write this info down.
Make a list of your job duties — Create a list of your current and past job duties. What have your responsibilities been?
Record your accomplishments — Create another list of specific successes you’ve accomplished — and include any specific data or information.
Use this information to craft a NEW resume for the NEW role you want — Once you find a job listing for a role you’ve never had, create a custom resume WITH THE INFO YOU GATHERED in steps 1-3. Then you can use this new resume for other job opportunities in this new industry as well.

I've been working in food service for a while as a server and bartender sometimes. I'd like to work from home in some capacity.
