Well, I did hear the edd had a huge backlog to catch up. Maybe that's it. Plus a lot of fraud and misdirected payments in the thousands to straighten out. Oh, just your typical buercractic nightmare.

California's Employment Development Department (EDD) started processing the Lost Wages Assistance (LWA) payments on Monday, Sept. 7. As the first payments started going out, California Labor Secretary Julie A. Su announced the state received approval for two more weeks of the benefit boost.

Thanks John, I'm hoping with others our ship comes in by the 21st. What a year to remember and forget at the same time. Just think the earth still has about 4 to 5 billion years left!!

Can't know what your state process, I'm only speaking for California. However, starting by Friday the 18th payments will be sent out for the 900$ to 1500$ finally. So check yours individual states schedule. Good luck to all. Hopefully Congress will pass something by month's end for additional stimulus. But it's still a long shot. Lastly, California ' borrowed billions to help us for up to six weeks from Fema.
