Help! I can’t seem to find a job. I had to quit my last job because management was so unprofessional, getting in my face, stealing out of my desk, cussing, saying very rude comments, it was horrible!
I have been looking ever since, (5 months). I have experience, a Health Science degree, licensed phlebotomists, and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant .
I’m desperately seeking part time because I have a special needs child at home. I don’t get it, I’m ready to start a career but nobody will hire me. I can pass a drug test all day every day! I have no criminal record of any sort!
Anyone else having trouble finding work?

Im having a hard time also! As a phlebotomist looking for part time you can look to blood banks and plasma centers also. The va needs it all the time and so does county jails

Brandy there are onsite health screener jobs out there usually early morning and they are prn jobs which pay very well especially if you have phebotomy certificate.

I'm in the same boat as you are Brandy. I just finished up a 160 hour TEFL course and am awaiting my certificate. With this certificate you can teach English from home. I'm praying this works out because I also have a special needs child and it is so hard!!
Look on Groupon for special deals for this course if you're interested. I paid $39.00 for a $250.00 course. Keep the faith and I promise to keep you in my prayers. We need all the help we can get.
God Bless!! Laura

Stay strong and be vigilant. STAY POSITIVE, GOD KNOWS YOUR HEART and HE WILL OPEN THE RIGHT DOORS.
Its difficult working in a toxic office especially if it’s dealing with my boss. I work with one who was two-faced. He used the f- bomb when no-one else was around. Everyone knows his true colors. In time “CORPORATE” will discover the truth too!

Hi Brandy,
Patient Services Representative (BBIVAR) Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists

Hi Brandy,
I hope you don't mind but I took a brief look at your work experience, and it appears that your most recent have been completely different from the fields in which you received your education and are degreed.
This may be the problem, however, I did a quick search and found these two opportunities. You might want to try searching for entry level positions in your field(s) of interest. It may take a little time and be just a tad bit difficult but once you apply try getting the address and going or calling to see if you can speak to an administrator that has a hand in hiring or at least they can speak for you with the HR department. It's always good to put a face with the name. This will allow you to explain yourself the same way you have here. Its hard to get where you are trying to go if no one won't give you a chance... but trust the Holy Spirit will guide you every step of the way ... you are never alone!
It may not even hurt if you can call the schools in which you attended, and see if you can get your Professors to give you written references. This may compensate for lack of experience.

Also there are a bunch of mental health hospitals where you are and rehabilitation facilities near yoy since you are prn. For all those jobs i mentioned in both comments you MUST go there to apply, they are almost never online. Happy hunting
