
If you aren't learning something new, you aren't growing. And if you aren't growing, then you really aren't succeeding. Here's a few 'wake-up-call' questions for you...
- What have you learned so far this year?
- What will you learn before the year is over?
- Where will you learn this - through your employer, or on your own? We all have to take responsibility to move our own worklife forward. It starts with building a continuous learning 'muscle'.
For me - I have learned a good amount from both colleagues and competitors this year and have learned a lot from people I have met in different settings as well. However, perhaps some of the best learning I have achieved this year is via some deepdives into 1-2 books in particular. But as I type this, I wonder if the pace of my learning hasn't decreased a bit from prior years, and so will take some time between now and July to consider what new learning goals I'll have for the second half of 2022.
