Protect Your #mentalhealth in the #workplace

We want so much, but what are we actually giving? So many beg for the job, only to show up to work late and with a poor and tacky attitude. Why do others have to deal with you and your mess and messiness?

Let's check ourselves before we wreck ourselves. Some of us aren't working right now because we suck and we lack #workplace #gratitude. Let's just be real. #jobsearch #wordsofadvice #advice #motivation #interview

Go after your purpose and you will find what you're looking for.

Forgive and move on. Everyone has a level and a platform on that level. Remember that you haven't lived their journey. So don't judge, you are not helping by judging harshly. If you as a passer-by really want to help pause and say something like: the answer to yourself Is that attitude going to get you what you want to achieve?

Yes exactly! This is why some employers are getting very selective about hiring.

If an employee does show up to work late with a bad attitude, they won't be there for long. Those who want the job will show it through their work ethic and professionalism.

With the economic state we're in right now, a lot of companies are reducing their job openings and having to do lay offs. It's a very unfortunate state that we're in right now, but we need to lift each other up, and hold eachother accountable to do better, instead of putting one another down.

Hmmmm, words of advice?? In my opinion, decide on what job you want. I think what employers are looking for are people looking to make careers rather than jobs. As an employee, find a job that strikes you as a job that you can see yourself in 10 years or more. I had an employer that gave me a promotion to fill his spot. I asked him " why me??" His response was " Everyone wants a raise to do the same job. Your work speaks for itself & you didn't ask for it. I must be able to walk around & think I need to pay him more"
