My 2nd payment was sent back to IRS. What do I do??

I received my 1st stimulus check by mail. Since then I have moved but my old landlord was still allowing me to use my old address as my mailing address. I found out yesterday that about a month ago my landlord rented my old apartment to someone else so my name had been removed from the mailbox and didn't notify me. So whenever I checked the IRS website about my 2nd payment it said that my check was mailed out on January 6th, 2021. So I went to the post office and they said that my check was more then likely sent back, F*@$ING WONDERFUL... WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO TO GET MY 2ND PAYMENT?? HELP ME ASAP PLEASE.... #stimulus #payment

The post office sends it back to the IRS & they do not mail you a new one. You have to claim it on your income tax form. Same thing happened to my son & when he finally was able to get a hold of the IRS (& post office), that is what he was told

You can claim the payment amount on line 30 (Form 1040) and have it added to your tax refund. However, if you're not planning to file your tax return anytime soon, if at all, IRS has a change of address form (Form 8822) you will need to notify IRS of your new address. Post Office will not forward government payments...especially refund checks.

Make sure you do a change of address with the post office first. Then call the IRS and inform them of your situation and that you have a new change of address... Also if you haven't done so you can claim them on your 2020 taxes...

At this point , you will have to claim the stimulus on your 2020 taxes.

Call the IRS and update your address, then they will give you the phone number to the bank that issues the card..follow the instructions from IRS after they give you the number..then you will be re issued card. Just make sure before you hang up from IRS that you ask them if the bank will send it to the updated address you gave them. I have banks number still if you need it.

It doesn't matter just remember, Trump wants his cut, he done so much for his people you would think you wouldn't need a stimulus check
