No matter what I do, no matter how much training and schooling I have I just can't seem to find anything in my field! I've gotten my Bachelor's in Professional Writing, my Master's in English and Creative Writing and now I'm working on my MFA in Creative Writing, I didn't feel comfortable moving on to a PhD. I always get the same old "while your skills and qualifications are impressive you do not meet our qualifications." yada yada. I don't have 50 million years of experience in my field but geez how much more qualified do I need to be? I'm just feeling so depressed, like why can't I get a chance?

Hi Shaina . You sound like a strong and beautiful woman with many years of education and just don't get why a company wouldn't want you on their side. Maybe you should look to do something on your own, something in your field of study you never know unless you try. I wish I had a woman like your self in my life. Good luck to you.

Hi Shaina! You go get that PhD. Don't let nothing stop you from getting your goals. Try an internship first. That's how you get your foot in the door to a job. Even though you have credentials. You still have to start at the bottom. I been in my field for over 17 years with credit conditions still start at the bottom. Continue to be a goal better without no ceiling. I wish you the best in all your endeavors.

Trust in God. Pray and have faith. GOD will show you the way just pray and ask him to help you ask Him what would he have you to be sweetie. Trust me. God bless you.

I understand your frustration. I received a BS in IT MANAGEMENT almost 2 years ago. Along with all the most desirable certifications in the software development field. I have interviewed at least 30 times, only to be told the same thing over and over. Not enough experience in this field. Not really sure how to respond to that anymore.

Keep Trusting and ask the higher man for help. Did you try Teaching? Continue praying, your morning is coming and he will do it again. Just do not loose hope chin up.

I understand. Don't beat yourself up, maybe you're just in the wrong location. Seek God over education. And he will provide all your needs.

write your own book. offer tutoring in your field.

just keep swimmin' ...just keep swimmin'.... Don't wait on that perfect job, get your foot in... and make that your stepping stone.

Shaina, I know how you feel. The company I was at for 20 years closed here in my region; then after recreating another new field find no work; within my transportation doable limits. The best I can tell you is keep a good spirit and just keep looking. I am trying like heck as well.
Try thinking positive it changes things to more positive outcomes.
