I would suggest elder care for short periods of time, such as when the family caregivers want to do errands, shop, have doctor's appointments, or attend a church service or some other event up to four hours long.

Well to be honest, we are still in a pandemic where children are getting sick. I don't know about you, but my child is not old enough to get vaccinated. Why would I want to work for 7.75 an hour to bring home something that could potentially kill me or my child? People do not want to sit at home and live off unemployment. You can not expect people to put their lives on the line to work at a restaurant or other low paying job. I understand that it's a hot topic and easy jab to tell the worthless bums at home to get a job, but honestly why aren't we outraged at the businesses who aren't willing to pay a livable wage. They are able to do this, they just don't want to. There should be more outrage that big business made millions and millions throughout the pandemic and yet most have yet to provide better pay for their employees. Look at Amazon. If you ask someone who has lost their job, they are going to tell you they want to get back to work. Maybe they got Covid and now have long last effects from the disease. Maybe the cost of daycare in their area is so much money that any job that they can get will go directly to daycare. Maybe they have a child that has health problems and they can't risk having their job somewhere else. Until we get Delta under control and the pandemic stops, I don't think you will see an increase of people willing to run back to work. Also I think that the times are changing and people are no longer going to allow for low paying jobs.
