In the year 2022, we find ourselves more connected than ever, due to social media and the internet. My parents, some aunts and uncles and even friends have found themselves not really trusting social media because they've heard about awful experiences some have had.
But, if we spend so much of our time on the internet, talking to people, looking for jobs, doing our jobs, why not use it to our advantage?

I think social media can be a great tool to do some research on companies, what employees and employers are saying. Product reviews etc. Definetely a helpful way for potential interest from people who might want to work at a company but want to first check out what they are truly about.
I am a new comer here, Does this works or we look and we chat to spend time ?
Social media helps in the job search process. that's probably why all job seekers are active on social networks sites on a daily basis, and 40% of employers utilize these sites in their hiring process. social media is a primary way of communication.
I have a friend that uses social media to promote their business. It's worked great for her, it's almost like using word of mouth but among people you don't know. It can help business take off much quicker than before for sure.
I know what you mean about the lack of trust. I think that also comes from the fear that anything you post on the internet will live on forever. But if you only post good stuff and only good stuff is posted about you, that can only help you right?
Social media is a double-edged sword, especially when you have a bunch of cancel culture ninnies who apparently aren't gainfully employed but feel compelled to spend their waking hours online looking for something to be offended about. This site is among the worst of the job seeking sites, they can't figure out how to keep the same serial scammers from coming here and posting their phishing attempts, but they chase off the members who flag and call out these scammers because the people who run this site are too lazy to do it themselves. Apparently they are more worried about people's feelings getting hurt when you point out that they are being set up as suckers, than they worry about people actually getting ripped off.
