My question is, how far back do HR/Employers go for background checks? 7, 10 years? Mine was a felony (non-violent) 10 years ago.

Does anyone know how far back they do background checks? I'm looking for a Customer Service /Office Assistant/Service Team Assistant position.

@Jacklyn O'Connor most go back 7 years but that's not a given. You can check this info from Goodhire.com which has more specific information for the state you live in. **TX
