I was denied UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS I waited to receive for 19 weeks, I stated my reason for unemployment was because of COVID-19 And I was promised after receiving my temporary nursing certificate , the last job I worked for as a CNA after passing all exams I never received my CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANCE CERTIFICATION ……..even though I worked during the pandemic and I felt like I needed to attend to my family but I was told my reason for unemployment was personal it’s like who does this government care about withholding money I made and I need and can’t get is truly insane no matter the reason of unemployment you should still receive some type of support for the government but this taught me how much the government doesn’t care about it’s citizens #unemployment #americancitizen#mentalhealth

I agree 100% . I have over $13,000 in my fund and have been waiting a month while they're still trying to resolve the matter . The last 2 times I was suspended since Feb. , the Employer said they would review the cameras . The 1st incident they said the cameras were down and the last incident which got me terminated they said they were cleaning their cameras . I just don't get it !!!

Come on, you can do this. Appeal your case. Include the impact of COVID19 which has affected all of us. I went and qualified for medicaid since I need health care. I got healthcare for my wife. I'm waiting on medicare since medicaid will pay for my medicare. My retirement is $586 a month which is not enough. I applied for SNAP for food and lifeline for reduced internet costs. I'm waiting to hear from them. Yesterday I got unemployment after appealing my case. I used covid19 followed by the story of my job separation. I have 3 more interviews this month to hopefully land a job. Also, cost of everything is rising. Ridiculous!! But hey, you can do this. Don't give up. I am willing to converse on here with you or anyone needing something. I found helping others some how helps my case. I have unemployment because I read someone's comment that said to use covid19. And why not since it's valid and honest. Don't struggle alone, struggle together.

I was denied unemployment. I appealed the case and today received a letter that I will have unemployment benefits. I was going to do was tell unemployment they did give me enough time, I was rushed, and their judgement was subjective. not factual. If I wrote something like that, do you think I'd get unemployment? It would be a fat chance in hell. I acknowledged first the pandemic affecting people's lives that we are met with indecision and uncertainty. The pandemic is a huge challenge. I mentioned the incident that it was unintentional. I didn't threaten, blame, or made excuses. I made sure I was respectful. At the end of the letter, I wrote "with all due respect." I stuck to my story that was honest. I worked hard constantly applying for jobs. I spent time thinking, shedding tears, and praying often. I never suffered so much uncertainty in all my life. I qualified for medicaid since my finances were limited. Medicaid said they will pay my medicare. I'm looking into SNAP. I'm hoping to get a full time job. I have three interviews this month. I remain hopeful. Your situation will work out if you don't give up. I believe my situation changed because of prayer and being proactive. People to well being proactive. You don't have to believe in prayer since it's my belief. What is yours? How will you improve your situation? I believe anyone can. Do your best.

I worked for the past 30 years, unemployment deducted from each paycheck for what? Denied benefits after 2nd round. Unemployment deduction should be made a choice by the employee not the employer or the government!

I am an insurance agent who is amino compromised. I have to have a work from home job. I have not found more than one and it was very technical: TELEPERFORMANCE said they would never hire me--- That's just not not right, especially if I fit the position.
