I felt proud to work for #Walmart when...
No never proud to work there. They treat their employees wrong. So, sad .
I wasn't either, I just stayed so long cause it paid the bills and I'm from a small town so their isn't many places to choose from.
I worked for Walmart for 4 years. 2 weeks ago, I quit. It got so bad that I couldn't do it anymore. They do treat the good people like shit.
Walmart has been a good place to work. If you do your job they don't bother you. If you play around and look at your phone or don't work hard, they'll call you on it, and rightly so.
Certain managers will get abusive. I had a new one that wanted me to reset 8 four-foot sections in cosmetics in four hours and it's a 16-hour job. Every hour coming by asking when I might be finished. When she was told at the beginning that I couldn't do it in four hours. I spent 11 hours working that day and when I left It was reset but new merchandise wasn't in yet and when I come back in the next day another manager was upset that I didn't put new merchandise on the shelf. Scanned an empty ticket on the shelf and wasn't in stock. She still said you did a bad job.
After 5-1/2 years working as a cashier I was fired unjustly and filed an appeal. Still waiting after she lied why she fired me. I loved working there until the past couple years and all the changes. Now so glad to be out of that place.
I work there and I luv it amazing loving people who care bosses r so helpful, understanding, patient, etc not every walmart is like that
This is a great place to work if you enjoy being treated like a slave, getting paid as one, where the definition of raise is where the rate is going from (example) $13.00 to $12.50 per hour, and the required COLA (required every year) might come once per DECADE, if not less. They claim that their management will come from floor employees, that will only happen to those who are EXTREMELY well connected. They also say they have education pay, this is only for the 0.01% of all employees everywhere and they need to apply through the company site so it will be the board members who determine who are granted the education pay.
Worked for Walmart years ago for 7 years they were great. Enjoyed my bosses and the people I worked for. As all jobs it has it good and bad. You get out of ur jobs what u put in to them. I had a lot of respect from the people who work underneath, beside and above me and I gave them just as much respect. I would still be there if my husband didn’t get sick on me.
