I would have to decline from that job cause I was offered a better position and would have a chance to make better pay

You may have a job in your mind that you feel would be perfect for you but it does not always work out that way. Give your present job a chance.

This is where personal branding really matters. You might have your eye on that dream job, but it's important to consider the company that believed in you. If it comes to letting that job go or resigning for your dream opportunity, just make sure you handle it the right way. That way, if things don't pan out, you might have the chance to return.

I would regretfully bow out with the first company, but after giving them time (1-2 weeks) to hire another. That's if my dream job would let me do that. Or I'd give the new company the option to match the dream job first.

Politely inform the first company that you’ve received an unexpected opportunity aligned with your long-term goals and, after careful consideration, you’ve decided to pursue it. Express gratitude for their offer and apologize for any inconvenience, maintaining professionalism to preserve the relationship.
