I suggest people really leave politics out of the workplace. But as we enter a crazy election year - I am wondering what stories, advice, or guidance you have about Politics and jobsearch, or politics and worklife in general......

I have found that most of the employee's from previous job's usually do not discuss much of politic's. Most of them either are not concerned about politic's and or just do not have the knowledge or concern to learn politic's. Some people believe politic's are boring and just is a ton of government jargon.

This is a very interesting question Fred... I think it's important to be aware of the issues and understand the political beliefs, values, and opinions for each candidate. I think we can personally become more knowledgeable when we engage in interpersonal discussions with other's wherever the opportunity presents itself (office, home, gym, community center, etc). I've noticed that other free world countries have no sensitivity protocols around discussing these issues. It's common to find provocative arguments involving political topics in restaurant's, cafes, and watering holes.
