Merchandiser at Reyes Coca Cola

I was told I was cleared to work and had been working for 1 month when HR called and told me they had to let me go because of my background. The only thing on there was a misdemeanor and HR said they only look at the last 2 years and they don't care about misdemeanors. Well my misdemeanor was back in 2014 and it had been resolved and everything was paid off and cleared up. And if they only look at the last 2 years and only felonies as they claim then why would they terminate my employment especially after 1 month working already?

If someone has more on their record than you, and still work there, you may have a discrimination lawsuit. then If it was in their guide book or something in writing, they could have violated their own policy.

You befriended someone, and the HR didn’t like that, so at their discretion you were let go, next time don’t be so friendly in starting a job

It's better you find out who they are (liars) now than later. Move on. See if you can get unemployment for now or take a seasonal job until you can find something better. Good Luck!!

I was you in my home town.. word for word.. not because of misdemeanor but for something else.. everyone I worked with enjoyed me & enjoyed them. The HR called me to the office & have me the speach.. our policy says this... Ok but why hire me in the 1st place. 😐She then says after 6 months you can reapply

Depending on the state...employers can terminate within the first 90 days without ant reason....move on and find other employment with a legit employer..just know they ALL will utilize this when it's suits THEM
