Just wondering. Why are people quitting their jobs and/or begging for more unemployment benefits??? There are help wanted signs everywhere(I work full time). #jobsearch #benefits #hiringnews #hiring #fulltime #hiringevents

True. I was asked if I have a college degree even though I have 15 years in a property management field

I am 53 years old and single, 4'll" tall and barely 100 lbs. I work 10+ hours a day at an extremely physically active Job up to 75000 steps a day (3+ miles) and lifting up to 70 lbs. a day because I don't have the qualifications to get any other job making as much as I do now ($16/hr.) I have been unemployed for 9 months of my working life (since I was 15 yrs old) because of covid, I have degenerative disc disease and need a knee replacement. I normally don't make comments on this subject but I am so sick and tired or hearing people making so many excuses not to work and asking the tax payers, meaning me, to pay them a wage to do nothing to better their lives when I go through what I do to work? There are help wanted signs everywhere!!! Even if your paid $12/hr. that's money that you're not making now and not taking from anyone else's pocket??

...never had trouble finding work in the past....now that I'm 72...knowledge and skill mean nothing anymore...nothing wrong with my skills...except that I'm not a youngster

Applied at Ross who said they were giving a $1500 sign on bonus. Called for an interview for loss prevention at $14 50 because they are short staffed they could guaranty me 8 hr/wk but I needed to have open availability. Would you take that job? Plus 30 min. Drive. No bonus.

People weren’t meant to leave home until they were married and had double incomes . No one was meant to make it alone away from home . To much divorce abd people living on their own

You must have grown up in a different generation. To be fair, a lot of the "quitting" may be that ppl got a better deal elsewhere.
