That’s the problem lately. You have no idea what a company’s bottom line is. You do not know the expenses that they pay out, and what is actually profit. Nobody thinks about what everyone getting a raise means for the economy. People just think they are entitled to have what someone else has. Everyone thought fast food workers deserved $15/hour and look how inflation has been. Granted that wasn’t the only factor, but it played a huge role. Perhaps this job does underpay. You have the option to look at other options.
