I was scammed last summer in a Merchandise Supply Agent scam. Scammers mirrored a legitimate business and business account. EIN... everything checked out. I lost $17,500.

Not to be rude, but I do not understand....every attorney general in the United States has warned individuals in each of their 50 states about this scam, and people are still getting involved with it? Why?

I was offered a job with a reputable company to work at home which I am looking for. They were going to provide all the necessary equipment. Then 2 weeks later I get a check in the mail with instructions to deposit it and buy the equipment, keep $1000 and return the rest of the money to them in a money order. It was like a $10,000 check. Of course I had the bank check it and it was bad. I'm glad I did not fall for that but I was so disappointed about the job.

I get calls about "prescreening" me for graphic design jobs. Usually someone with an Indian accent. They tell me to expect a call in 12-24 hours from their senior manager to do a follow-up interview. Crickets. Scam. They make Indian people all look like crooks. I just cut off the conversation any time they call. So far at least 4 times.

Also don’t forget the I’m calling from the IRS or Social Security about money you owe or you could go to jail if you don’t pay….yeah right

I'm not racist and don't plan to be. But I catch a lot of scam callers with an Indian accent. They call saying they're from Microsoft, PGE, DMV, and from a mortgage company. All saying that I'm past due and they're calling to collect payment. I laugh and tell them to get a Real F_ _ _ _ing JOB

There are many scammers out there. A lot of companies use the trick calling or texting you have won something or money but you have to put up funds or cards to cover a certain amount. I simply say thanks but no thanks.
