Advice please...

After about a year looking for a job... I finally found one !!! Started in March. I just found out that they only offer three days vacation a year and three days paid sick leave per year. It was exhausting looking for a job. Should I start looking again ? Wife and son are not happy with me at the moment. ( four more years till retirement )

Just got let go

I was recently let go in a position I no longer want to do I worked for this company for 8 months and was told we have to let you go. I worked this same position with another company for over 17 years that owner was on the verge of retirement. So I left and then get fired 8 months into the new job. I am stuck on my resume if I should include the company that fired me and be honest on how it ended or just say I took some time off for 8 months. I…

I always think that honesty is the best policy if you are asked, but you don't necessarily need to include that job if you feel it…

Just when we feel the world has no more use for us because our age has finally caught up to us. Then we begin to feel frustrated, and that we are being treated unfairly. Prospective employers don't seem to want to hire us not even give us a chance. Its become apparent they think we are to old, but you know within yourself, and with every fiber of your being that you are still extremely viable. What exactly should we Seniors do that are not…
