Sometimes when things are tough it can do a number on your self-esteem, but don't let that negativity creep in!

While working for an Independent Contractor I had time on my hands for days off and between contracts (Tampa) and signed on with a Temp Agency called Automation, had a few great experiences, like working at the airport for Amazon for a bit, and Macy's on two different occasions running a package sorter and learning the software on a Titan arm scanner. I was laid off/fired due to acquiring 6points before my probation period was over but was told to re apply an that my boss would give me my job back after the disciplinary 3 month
I applied for 3 different positions at a specific Walmart that posted the openings online back on 9 October and they haven’t even reviewed the application. How long does it take for someone to review the application? I passed the application process. I check everyday but to no avail. If they have positions open then why don’t they check the application I posted to at least review it? It’s frustrating to say the least.
I was an employee at Macy's for 16 years, I loved my job until of recently. I was the only associate in the whole dept, I had no help during the busy holidays and the customers were fed up and took it out on me. My 25yr old nephew graduated from college two years ago and is not working. He said he spent too much time and money getting a degree to then have to work in something like retail. I don't know if that is really an
excuse to hide the fact that he has depression and anxiety and the thought of interviewing sends him into panic mode. I've tried talking to him and have sent him multiple job leads, but he doesn't pursue them. Any advice?
I really enjoyed all different task beside cashiering. I enjoyed the customers that I took care of and always had a positive attitude and a smiling face
I was a cashier and , I learned how to deal with people. I could also work at service desk handling exchanges.
So I have a job at a thrift shop who coaches you for a real job out in the world. I work with a few ladies who do not like me. Actually never like me once they met me. They think they run the place.
