Unemployment rate is the lowest in years but I still can't find a job! I know it is because of my age! I am a young 60 years old.,. I don't have health insurance, only my husbands SSI.
I am not sure what else I can do.
Feeling frustrated because you applied to a TON of jobs and you still aren’t hearing back???
The problem could be that your resume is missing some important information!
If a company uses what’s called a applicant tracking system or ATS, your resume will go through a screening process. If it’s missing certain elements it will be pushed aside and not viewed by that particular company.

I accepted a position from the US Census Bureau on Dec 6th of 2018. I have completed all my paperwork and everything. Does anyone know how long it takes to get a background check done for a clerk-receptionist position? I know that they had a shutdown but now they are open once again. I was wondering why it takes so long to get employed by the federal government?
I was a Fed Govt contractor before the furlough. My boss asked me to sign a Non compete for 2 years - right smack dab in the middle of this shutdown....or not renew my contract. What was I to do??? I havent made a cent not one penny since the shutdown and I have 30 years in my industry....so why kick someone when they are already down...how am I to feed my family, work , pay my bills...so I told her I wasn't going to sign it....I needed to work…

It was a private school and they wanted near perfect scores for all students. Basically ''cosmetic'' A & B…

Now we've got to refer to the law of supply and demand. When supply is high and demand is low, prices drop…
A lot of the the things we condemn others for were also used by the United States
When we The People, begin to understand and accept that in the good old USA there is no such thing as job security the better off we will be. I had to learn that the hard way after years of micro management, power plays, and the flexing of authority just because they could, not because they have to.
The only way to go in this country now is to create your own business, this is the only way that you can be assured that fairness of anykind will be…
About three years ago I earned my bachelor’s degree in political science and graduated with honors. However, I haven’t been able to find a job with my degree. I work at my family’s restaurant and I feel trapped in it because I can’t get out of it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
