Without Direction

Murky is a way of describing how I saw my future, I had no real aim towards anything and simply went through the motions. When it came to what I wanted to do with my life, I felt as though the talents that I did have and the dream job I wanted were too unrealistic to achieve and made me lose confidence. I tried entering into a career path I neither fully understood or completely desired out of necessity.

Don't do what I have done and second-guess what you wish to be, if you want to pursue a career doing what you love, you must be willing to fight for it.

Hi Adrian, so true! NEVER, ever tell yourself that you "can't" or let anyone else either. Self-doubt is a terrible thing and at one point or another, we have ALL faced it. I hope that you are in a good place now. Thanks for this motivation, it put a smile on my face : ) Stay positive and keep fighting for what you want!

Very insightful statements and words of advice Adrian. Have you been able to explore other career paths to pursue? The HS graduation date on your profile shows you're still a very young person so you still have plenty of time. It took me a long time to find my stride in the word as well so I understand what your expressing. I discovered a suitable career path by trial and error but along the way I found out that knowing what I didn't like to do was just as important as knowing what I wanted to do. The process of elimination brought me closer to my goal.

Thanks for your words of wisdom my friend. Hope all is well!

Ra'mon -- thanks so much for for the kind works to #teamjobcase! I'm from the Detroit-area originally and knowing that I'm helping people back home like you is what fuels me. I think you are an inspiration in the way you are committed to helping people like yourself. Jobcasers helping Jobcasers -- and we couldn't do it without you!

I asked myself how to handle life?

I received this in WeChat. I don't know the origin, but thought it's worth to share: ""I asked myself how to handle life? My room gave me all the answers: Roof said: Aim high. Fan said: Be cool. Clock said: Value time Calendar said: Be up to date. Wallet said: Save now for the future. Mirror said: Always observe yourself. Wall said: Share others' load. Window said: Expand the vision. Floor said: Always be down to earth. Stairs said: Watch each step you take. The most inspiring one: Toilet bowl said: When it's time to let go, just let it go............... And the toilet paper said: Expect shit everyday !!!""

The Promiseland

Don't give up the search for the right job. The world depends on the work of you and I whether it be small or large. We depend on ourselves and the world to find happiness and purpose in our lives. I believe all of us work best when we're happiest and that it is our duty to find that job, happiness, and Promiseland.

Reflection....

Don't look at what life has done to you! Yet, look at what life has to offer you and; how to bring positive results into true fruition! Your decisions, your LIFE!
