Oh T baby, I know the feelings. The tensions of living beyond our means, and the drama of new management. This is truly getting screwed and not enjoying any part of it. I don't know of any legal actions available to you, and I think you have to have 3 or more 'pay day loans' to have an arbitrary service assume them on your behalf, usually costing you about half the original debts. I'm not telling you to get two more because you have had to have made at least one payment to the loan bastards before it qualifies for negotiations. But I do hope you find other employment real soon so as not to increase the nightmare that may be forming. Oh, and T baby, reread your posting. The grammar and word choices. It all sounds very exciting to me, but may seem guttural to others. Many company's have policy regarding garnishments, and lay-off or fire the individuals. It has happened to me, and in actuality, it has now happened to you. If there is someone above your GM who is approachable, suggest you replace the $39.00 having it stricken from your records (even though you didn't steal it), and assure them you will not be required to undergo garnishments. Company's have all the leverage on their sides during this recession and seem to cycle through us employees as if we were wheat to be harvested. Never minding what get tossed away in the process. Best to you T baby, as hard as this seems, you will survive it. Respectfully, Philip M Brockman

As a store manager (fast food) I unlike some others here, believe you have a good.chance of getting unemployment. If The store has cameras they should be able to see if you were the one who stole money from the drawer. I think the manager simply doesn't want you on the team. The manager was probably hoping you did take the money and by firing you for it, hoping you would not push the appeal. In my opinion, unless your manager can actually prove you stole money, you will win. I would like to suggest that you learn proper language and writing skills. That can improve your chances for better employment opportunities in your future. These days customer service is huge, and if you communicate with others like you write, quite honestly, your chances of landing a new job will be very limited. Use the time you have while unemployed to take a class in proper communication. That's my honest advice. Good luck to you

I Finally Paid Off My Loans!!!

So after 3 years of college I left because it wasn’t for me. I looked into trucking since my uncle did trucking fora few years. I went and did the CDL school and have been working for this company for about 10 months now. I don’t think I want to stay OTR, I will probably go do local work after another 6 months to a year, but being able to live pretty much rent free and not worry about tons of bills is nice. I’ve been putting half my check towards my loans and as of last week I am now fully paid off… talk about a relief. I just wanted wanted to share some good news with everyone!! Stay safe, drivers

My life sucks.

Sallie Mae is double garnishing me now. They have two arms coming at me. So now working at my par time minimum wage job. I am being garnished 30 percent of my income. Thanks to my inability to get anything better. I am even poorer now.

Tell me again why college was worth it? That is even with me having a MBA and BFA in animation. College is a scam. It is not worth it. All it gave me is low wage work. Made me even more unemployable then I was before college.

This debt has effected my mental health to no end. Of course they don’t care about my issues. They don’t care if they garnish all my wages. These ass***s are the worst. You know what? You can thank the US government. This would not happen in the private sector.

You people wonder why I am depressed all the time. I can’t a job that pays more then minimum wage and is full time and I am being garnished to the hilt.

I have every right to be depressed. No work, no money, no life

Needing Information/Guidance

I received my acceptance letter into a FNP program today and start March 5th! I am so excited and know finding a job will eventually happen. However, I need to find grants or scholarships to cover some of the cost. Where can I find financial assistance for advancing my education? Google has been a waste of time.

Congratulations Mindy. Have you tried your state board of Nursing? They often offer scholarships to nurses who are furthering their degrees. Also when I got my NP I applied for a traineship with the government. This paid every penny and I did not have to pay anything back. You might check with your nursing school to see if this is still offered. I believe it is. There should be other government programs available that may require you to pay back or you may be able to get money in agreement to work two years in and underserved area. This is a great way to pay back with service and still have a salary/ Let me know if I can further assist you

LET ME KNOW IF THIS MAKES SENSE TO ALL JOB CASERS;

you want a better paying job. you want a better paying career. you could use extra money now . even if you can get a consolidated loan with low interest low payments. which the credit unions do for people and they help you improve your credit. and finally you have bad credit and don't qualify for anything like where can you get a car finance new or used. where can you get a house finance. how can you get financing for a career or to open a business. imagine your broke or struggling . the local credit union offers you all these financial products . for example : IF YOU HAVE NO INCOME LOW INCOME OR ON A FIX INCOME . OR YOU WANT TO PURSUE A CAREER. YOU NEED MONEY WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO IF ONLY. well you can now inject 500$ 1000$ up to 5000$ per month to your low income or no income or fix income is it debt yes low debt good debt if there is such a thing. BUT MOST OF ALL WHILE YOU STRUGGLE IT WORKS FOR YOU TO" BUY " YOU SOME TIME TO STOP STRUGGLING AND GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE UNTIL THINGS CHANGE .like you get a better job or get a new job and wait to get paid in 3 weeks . or a career changes now your making money . or you open your own business and with your creativity its making you money. ALL THESE THINGS ARE THE AMERICAN DREAM . i made that happen my 5 daughters made that happen . i now pass it on to my granddaughters "ALL FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT". MY QUESTION IS WHY COULDNT THAT BE YOU . there is nothing special about me other than I AM VERY CREATIVE AND love to help people that struggle to make end meet. SO DOES THAT MAKE SENSE . I ASK BECAUSE I GET criticized for my grammar or my ALL CAPS . and yet what does all that have to do with the way i help people IN REAL LIFE THAT STRUGGLE TO MAKE ENDS MEET. does this make sense to you all as they say in Texas. it does to meet and my 5 daughters and my two grand daughters and all the people i helped. good luck to you all god bless you all in your search for work ;

I would not suggest taking out a loan without a stable and consistent form of income.

Sorry Donald but I don’t feel sorry for you!! Trump’s $1 Million loan dilemma.

I having a hard time understanding how someone with that background can understand the employment challenges of middle and low income America. What do you think? http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/26/politics/donald-trump-small-loan-town-hall/

Elda, That is the problem with every politician in America. They are so far out of touch with the working class. The majority of democrats are lawyers and the majority of republicans are businesspeople. It's hard to get to a position of making changes without owing your status to somebody. I think that's why the allure of some of our candidates are so strong.

I will never understand why people hate on a successful person. I hear the same thing about Oprah who is incredibly successful. Who cares how they do it as long as it's lawful. I admire anyone, who through intelligence, hard work, singular focus, persistence takes one dollar and increases it to many. Don't hate and envy, duplicate, emulate and succeed. If you took 1 thousand dollars and made a million, you have sccomplished the same goal. Its just scale. Rich people often deny themselves many things in the beginning because you dont get rich by spending money. I know someone I admire who is wealthy but still drives a 1986 chevy truck, it is a symbol to him and he cherishes it because it is a humble beginning and the only new car he ever bought. Wealth is rarely ever easy to obtain. The Clampetts just dont exist. safetyisjobone@gmail

Yikes! Yes Frederick Goff if it involves money then there is likely a scam for it and relief for college debt is certainly no different. It's sad, but we do live in a world where you need to validate if things appear too good to be true.
